Scratch National Competition 2021 Open!

The National Scratch Competition 2021 has just been launched. This national coding competition is brought to you by the ICS and supported by Lero – the Irish Software Research Centre. The Scratch Competition promotes computing and software development at both primary and secondary school levels. The competition is open to students in primary and second level schools in Ireland, and to students attending after-school coding clubs such as Coderdojo.

Schools  all  over  Ireland  are  now  invited  to  register  and  take  part  in  this  year’s competition. The closing date for receipt of Scratch projects is Friday 26th February 2021.

All participants receive a Scratch participation cert with the top scoring projects going through to a grand final, taking place during Tech Week 2021, where the overall national winners will be announced.
