CLASSROOM VISIT
Calling volunteers!
Can you visit a school during Tech Week?

There are only a few weeks left until Tech Week and many schools would like a local volunteer computing professional to visit them and explain a little about what a career in computing may entail.
Here’s how you can help:
- Contact your local school to arrange a visit.
-
Submit details of your activity here. Also, the first 200 registered events get FREE Tech Week merchandise to give to the students.
-
Visit your local school and show students that computing is a fascinating and rewarding career with limitless options.

WORKSHOP
Want to include a workshop in your visit? Barefoot Computing have kindly provided these materials suitable for primary students.
The activities during Tech Week give students a chance to develop their interest in technology subjects, examine potential career prospects, learn new skills, be creative and, most importantly, have a lot of fun!
Visiting schools is a great way to support and inspire young people in your local area while developing key communication skills.
Don’t forget all of your volunteering activities count towards your CPD credits!
