    Event Type: Awards Ceremony

Digital Art Week will take place alongside Tech Week as usual and this year we have a challenge for budding primary school artists! Well-known Irish artist, Lorraine Fenlon will be making a special video showing one of her paintings and children will be asked to respond to her piece of art in any way they can think about. They can respond by using an art app like MS Paint or an iPad app or they can use traditional materials too. The only criteria is that they will upload their piece of work on the Digital Art Week website. Once submitted, their piece of art will be added to the Digital Art Week gallery and one piece of art will be selected for a prize. The prize will be for the piece of art that responds best to Lorraine's work. The idea of Digital Art Week is to demonstrate a simple way that teachers can integrate technology into their everyday teaching.
